1 minute read

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Accel-RF Corporation, the world leader in turn-key RF Reliability Testing Systems for Compound Semiconductor devices, announces collaboration with Durango, Colorado based Airborne Media Group, Inc. on development and delivery of custom wireless hardware for streaming audio from a central unit to an application running on a smartphone.

Airborne Media Group, an innovator in social media applications and solutions, enlisted Accel-RF as a key team member to integrate and manufacture the hardware piece of Audioair™, a local-area network platform that enables streaming audio from muted televisions in public venues such as airports and private businesses over a customized smart-phone application.

Cordell Brown, CEO of Airborne Media Group says, “AMG had a unique idea that we wanted to get to the wireless market fast. The need to find a highly technical yet manufacturing-savvy partner was critical to our launch-target success. We turned to Accel-RF to integrate and manufacture our custom hardware platform after discovering their capability for producing complex sub-system products like their AARTS reliability product line. Accel’s manufacturing capability coupled with their knowledge of wireless products blended to an excellent marriage, considering the technical challenges of our application. We look forward to growing our collaborative relationship with Accel as AMG moves to further market penetration of Audioair™ and the derivative products that will be envisioned in the future.”

Roland Shaw, President of Accel-RF adds, “The high level of technical competence and complex black-box manufacturing expertise inherent in our AARTS RF semiconductor reliability system has positioned us to leverage our core competencies to provide hardware coupled with embedded firmware solutions for the ever-expanding wireless communications market. AMG has been a great partner in our expansion to providing RF module and subsystem products to the wireless market space. We are excited not only about Audioair™ market growth, but also in the strong relationship we have developed with the AMG team. Accel-RF is proud to have been a part of this success, and values the trust AMG has given us. This has truly been a win-win project.”
